Happy Day 7 of Craftoween, spooky friends! 👻
Today we’re crafting with a magical twist using the “Spellbound” die set from the Magic & Mischief line. It’s part of the Craftoween calendar and is packed with charming, spooky pieces — including stacked books, candles, banners, and more. I was instantly inspired to create something that blends witchy academia with Halloween charm!
What’s in the Day 7 Die Set:

The die set includes:
- Layered books (perfect for spellbooks!)
- Melting candles
- A ribbon banner with the word “Spellbound”
- Potion bottles, bubbles, and extra spooky details
This set is full of creative possibilities for cards, tags, journals, or even decor pieces.
My Project: Spellbound Raven Cards

I created two dimensional Halloween cards featuring a black raven in a top hat perched on a skull with stacked spellbooks and glowing candles behind it. The textured background gives it that extra vintage haunted feel while keeping it fun and elegant.
I went with tones of purple, ivory, and black—along with orange for that candle glow. This die set layers beautifully, and it’s SO easy to customize to your style!
Products Used:
- Magic & Mischief “Spellbound” Die Set
- Textured cardstock
- Foam tape for dimension
- Scrapbook background paper
- Raven and skull dies from my stash
