Welcome back to another spooky-fun day of Craftoween, friends! Today is Day 11, and we’re creeping it real with a haunted house-themed die set from Spellbinders — and it is ghoulishly adorable! 🦇
This die was part of Spellbinders’ 13 Days of Craftoween, and behind door 11 was a frightfully fun haunted house complete with glowing windows, spooky tree branches, and even a bat to set the mood. I had such a blast building this card, and I can’t wait to share the details with you.
What Was Inside Day 11?
Day 11 came packaged in a charming Halloween envelope featuring a white owl perched on a tree branch under a glowing moon (seriously, how cute is that?). Inside was the real treat — a multi-layered haunted house die with cutouts for the roof, base, windows, and an adorable little bat. And of course, the coordinating sentiment: “Enter If You Dare!”
Creating the Card: A Spooky Little Scene
I wanted the haunted house to have that eerie, glowing look — so I used neon green cardstock to back the windows and door. The black silhouette of the house gave just the right amount of spooky drama, and I layered it over a slightly angled piece of printed paper to give it a “tilted portrait” vibe.
To add even more dimension, I popped in a spooky tree silhouette, a bat in flight, and of course, the included sentiment strip “Enter If You Dare” to complete the creepy-cute scene.
A few green gems added a pop of sparkle and helped tie in the neon glow.

- Tree and bat dies from stash
- Foam dots for dimension

Final Thoughts
This haunted house card might just be one of my favorites from the 13 Days of Craftoween so far! The Spellbinders die set gave me so much room to play with layers, colors, and spooky silhouettes — and the end result is a card that’s perfect for Halloween gifting or decor.
